Hello readers! Hello autumn! It is a high time to notice that my favourite season has officially arrived. And so has my idea to finally create my own space on the Internet. I really hope you will find some of my posts (a majority of them, please!) inspiring and you will benefit from them.
To begin, if you are reading this you are probably one of the first people in my new little world. So thank you for your time! Today I have for you my Fall Bucket List. These are the things I want to do during next months and things which will make this fall the best of all!
I have also prepared the list in a free downloadable file so please do not hesitate to print it. Let’s get started.

    1. Have a family/friends game night.

Since days are becoming shorter and the aura may not tempt you to go outside it is the best time to organise a family/friends game night. And when I say „game” I don’t mean PC or Xbox. Consider different types of board games. Recently I’ve been really enjoying „Ticket to Ride: Europe” and „7 Wonders: Duel” but there are so many options available on the market that you will probably choose something perfect for you.

    2. Try a new pumpkin recipe.

Pumpkin is the symbol of autumn. And as far as recipes are concerned you can use it in many different ways. Have you tried a pumpkin cream soup? Or pumpkin muffins? Delicious, I’m telling you. And really worth to cook.

    3. Decorate your flat.

I am sure that a lot of you do it every single year however it is always good to mention. Decorating your flat is so much fun and help you create the special festive atmosphere in your home. I am a big fan of DIY decor because you can create something very yours and unique. In addition, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to achieve very autumnal-looking space. If you also are interested in DIY decor I want to invite you on my blog next week because I will post my ideas of very inexpensive fall DIY. I will also post the link on my Instagram so do not hesitate to follow me.

    4. Drink Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Ok. I’ve actually never tried Pumpkin Spice Latte. And that’s why it is on my to-do list this year. To be honest I very rarely even drink coffee but I think I can make an exception. And even if I don’t I have still other options to try (Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate sounds good for me!).

    5. Burn an autumnal candle.

This point is definitely one of my favourites. Burning an autumnal candle make your home cosy in one second. There is something very calming in it. Having one of the candles in your room not only give you the cosy feeling but also makes your room smelling incredible. Sooo goood.

    6. Go for a long foggy walk.

You know these cozy mornings under your autumnal bedding? So do I. And I understand that sometimes it’s really difficult to get up. However, one day you may try something new. Break the routine, wake up an hour or two earlier and go for a long walk. Make sure to wear some warm clothes in order to fully focus on the colourful leaves and crisp air rather than feeling extremely cold.

    7. Have a photo shoot.

I really like taking pictures. But I also have some problems with motivating myself to do it more often. Autumn is a good moment to have a photo shoot. Leaves and pumpkins are perfect props and the colours of fall are worth capturing.

    8. Watch „Hocus Pokus”.

I probably don’t need to add anything. Just watch „Hocus Pocus” and enjoy autumn!

    9. Throw a Halloween Party.

Autumn without Halloween is not autumn at all. Ghosts, bats, pumpkins (again!) and scary movies - it all creates one of the best evenings of the whole year. I love to go shopping for Halloween decor, I love to watch other people’s pictures… I just freakin’ love Halloween! So grab your disguise, meet with your friends, eat, drink and BE SCARY!

    10. Carve or decorate a pumpkin.

How many times have I mentioned „pumpkin” in my post? Maybe too many. However, we have autumn and decorating a pumpkin should be on everybody’s bucket list. If you think that carving may be a little bit too old-fashioned you may try for example painting it and add some sparkles on top.

    11. Read a book under a blanket.

Let’s be honest. Reading is always a good idea. Nevertheless there is a possibility that you will have some free time in autumn and you will like to spend it in front of TV. Then think about reading a book under a blanket. Think about the coziness and atmosphere. Personally in autumn I tend to reach for thrillers or crime stories, especially when it’s raining. I would like to recommend to you one of my favourite authors: Maxime Chattam. You will not be disappointed.

    12. Make cupcakes.

Fall is a good time to try new cupcake recipe. During this time of the year we tend to eat a lot more sweets because of the weather and accompanying bad humour. And handmade cupcakes are so much better that these bought in a supermarket. Even if you’ve never tried baking before I promise you - they are super easy to make.

    13. Go to Escape Room or a haunted house.

In Poland Escape Rooms are becoming super popular these days. Wikipedia says that „an escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms”. Personally I’ve never been in place like that before but my friend recommended it to me so I’m gonna try. It may be even a good way to spend Halloween evening.

    14. Wear a dark lip.

Have you ever wanted to wear a dark lip but was not sure about it? Now it’s the best time. There are so many different berry tones on the market that you will for sure find the perfect one. In autumn I reach for berry, maroon and bronzy shades and I have so much fun! One advice I can give if you are not comfortable with dark lip is starting slowly. You can start with thin layer, then add some more, then more and… just rock it!

That was my list of 14 ideas for spending free time in autumn. Let me know if you are going to try something from here. Or maybe do you have your own ideas? I would love to know. I’ve also prepared the list in a printable .pdf. Just click on the picture or the link. I hope you will enjoy it.

Thank you for your time and see you next week!
    Bye!
